हिंदू धर्म में प्रदोष व्रत का विशेष महत्व होता है। जिस प्रकार से एक माह में दो एकादशी होती है, उसी प्रकार प्रदोष व्रत एक माह मे दो बार क्रमशः शुक्लपक्ष तथा कृष्णपक्ष की त्रयोदशी तिथि को आता है। इस तरह एक वर्ष में 24 प्रदोष व्रत आते हैं।

यह व्रत भगवान शिव के लिए समर्पित होता है। यह व्रत भगवान शिव की उपासना के द्वारा, भगवान शंकर की प्रसन्नता प्राप्ति हेतु, दीर्घायु प्राप्त करने हेतु , संतान, सुख-समृद्धि तथा जन्म और मृत्यु के बंधनों से मुक्त होने, यानि मोक्ष तथा प्रभुत्व प्राप्ति के लिए किया जाता है । 

यह व्रत, व्रती यानि उपासक को "धर्म" और "मोक्ष" से जोडता है, तथा "अर्थ" और "काम" से दूर करता है।

स्कंद पुराण के अनुसार शिव की पूजा करने वाले मनुष्यों को दुख, गरीबी, आभाव, ऋण तथा मृत्यु के भय से मुक्ति मिलती है तथा धन-धान्य, स्त्री-पुत्र, सुख-सौभाग्य की प्राप्ति मे निरंतर वृद्धि होती रहती  है। ऐसी मान्यता है कि जो भी भक्त इस व्रत को रखता है, तथा विधि-विधान से पूजा अर्चना करता है, उस पर भोलेनाथ और देवी पार्वती की कृपा सदैव बनी रहती है। प्रदोष व्रत के मुख्य देवता शिव माने गए हैं। उनके साथ पार्वती जी की भी पूजा की जाती है। इस व्रत को किसी भी उम्र के लोग रख सकते हैं।

प्रत्येक मास की त्रयोदशी तिथि को प्रदोष व्रत होता है। दिन अर्थात "वार" के आधार पर इनका नाम बदलता रहता है। दूसरे शब्दों मे प्रदोष व्रत सप्ताह के अलग-२ वारो को आता है, ऐसा माना जाता है कि सप्ताह के अलग-२ वारो पर आने पर उन वारो के अनुसार व्रती को अलग -२ प्रकार के शुभफल प्राप्त होते है ।

14 अप्रैल 2022 को प्रदोष व्रत गुरुवार को आ रहा है, इसे गुरुवारा प्रदोष कहते हैं। इससे वृहस्पति ग्रह शुभ प्रभाव तो देते ही है, साथ ही इसे करने से पितरों का आशीर्वाद भी प्राप्त होता है। अक्सर यह प्रदोष पुत्र संतान प्राप्त करने तथा शत्रु एवं खतरों के विनाश के लिए किया जाता है। श्री सूतजी के अनुसार- यह अति श्रेष्ठ शत्रु विनाशक भक्ति प्रिय व्रत है। 

यह व्रत चहुँ ओर से सफलता प्राप्ति  के हेतु भी रखा जाता है। हिन्दु धर्म शास्त्रों मे कहा गया है कि गुरु प्रदोष त्रयोदशी व्रत करने वाले को सौ गायें दान करने के बराबर का पुण्य  फल प्राप्त होता है तथा यह व्रत सभी प्रकार के कष्ट और पापों को नष्ट करता है। इस व्रत की कथा श्रवण करने से मात्र से ही ऐश्वर्य और विजय का शुभ वरदान मिलता है।

प्रदोष व्रत का अन्य महत्व:-

प्रदोष व्रत और शिव पूजा करने से व्यक्ति की सभी मनोकामनाएं पूरी होती हैं। प्रदोष व्रत करने से परिवार में सुख एवं समृद्धि आती है. शिव कृपा से कष्ट दूर होते हैं और निरोगी जीवन प्राप्त होता है।

पौराणिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, भगवान शिव सबसे आसानी से प्रसन्न होने वाले हैं। वे आदि हैं, वे ही अंत हैं। उनसे ही जीवन है, उनसे ही मृत्यु है। वही महाकाल हैं। त्रयोदशी के दिन जो लोग प्रदोष व्रत रखते हैं उनको रोगों से मुक्ति मिलती है, जीवन में सुख, समृद्धि प्राप्त होती है। दुखों और पाप का नाश होता है। जिन लोगों को कोई संतान नहीं होती है, उन लोगों को वंश वृद्धि के लिए संतान सुख प्राप्त होता है।

प्रदोष व्रत करने की विधि :-

विशेष:- प्रदोष व्रत की पूजा,  सूर्यास्त से लेकर 6 घटी अर्थात 2 घण्टे 24 मिनट की अवधि मे की जाती है, इसी अवधि को प्रदोष काल कहते है, ( कुछ विद्वान् सूर्यास्त के बाद की 3 घडी अर्थात 1 घण्टे 12 मिनट की अवधि को प्रदोष काल मानते है)

प्रदोष काल में ही प्रदोष व्रत की पूजा होती है। ऐसी मान्यता है कि प्रदोष के दिन भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती की एक साथ पूजा करने से कई जन्मों के पाप धुल जाते हैं और मन पवित्र हो जाता है।

1. प्रदोष व्रत करने के लिए साधक यानि व्रती को त्रयोदशी के दिन सूर्योदय से पहले उठना चाहिये,  स्नानादि के उपरांत भगवान शिव की उपासना करनी चाहिये ।

2. पूरे दिन इस व्रत मे आहार नही लिया जाता, अर्थात निराहार रहना होता है ।

3. पूरे दिन उपवास रखने के उपरांत सूर्योस्त से पहले पुनः स्नान करके सफेद वस्त्र धारण करे ।

4. अब ईशान कोण ( North-East ) मे शांत स्थान पर पूजा का मण्डप तैयार करे, 

पूजास्थल को शुद्ध जल से धोने के बाद गंगा जल से छीटां लगाकर, यदि संभव हो तो गाय के गोबर से लेप होना चाहिए । 

 इस मण्डप मे पांच रंगो का इस्तेमाल करते हुए कमल के पुष्प की आकृति बनाये । 

भगवान शिव की मूर्ति या चित्र को स्थापित करे 

अब प्रदोष व्रत का संकल्प हिंदी या फिर संस्कृत मे इस प्रकार से करे :-

"मम शिव प्रसाद प्राप्ति कामनया प्रदोष व्रतांगी भूतं शिवपूजनं  करिष्ये"

(भावार्थ- भगवान शिव की कृपा प्राप्ति की कामना से मैं प्रदोष व्रत के अंगभूत शिव पूजन करता हूँ)

इस प्रकार संकल्प करके माथे पर भस्म एवं चंदन का तिलक लगाकर गले मे रूदाक्ष की माला धारण करे (ललाट पर भस्म का तिलक और रूदाक्ष मे अत्यधिक मात्रा मे शिवतत्व मौजूद होने से ये भगवान शिव को प्रसन्न तथा आकृष्ट करते है )

अब निम्नलिखित मंत्र बोलकर भगवान शिव का आवाहन करे:-

।।  पिनाकपाणये नमः।।

।। ॐ शिवाय नमः ।। मंत्र से स्नान करवाये ।

।। पशुपतये नमः ।।

।। ॐ उमा महेश्वराभ्यां नमः ।।

मंत्र से गन्ध, पुष्प,धूप-दीप, तथा नैवेद्य अर्पित करे, और निवेदन करना चाहिए:-

"हे भगवन् ! आप माता पार्वती के साथ पधार कर मेरी पूजा स्वीकार कीजिये"

तत्पश्चात मंत्रजाप करने या कथा करने के उपरांत निम्नलिखित मंत्र द्वारा प्रार्थना कर सकते है :-

जयनाथ कृपासिंधो जय भक्तार्तिभंजन ।

जय दुस्तरसंसार-सागरोतारण प्रभो ॥

प्रसीद मे महाभाग संसारार्तस्य खिधतः ।

सर्वपापक्षयं कृत्वा रक्ष मां परमेश्वर ॥

इसके बाद सामर्थ्यनुसार निम्नलिखित मंत्र का जाप करे:-

ॐ नमः शिवाय  

उपरोक्त मंत्र का अत्यंत पुण्यदायी है, अतः इस मंत्र का जाप करना चाहिए ।

अंत मे ।। महादेवाय नमः।। मंत्र बोलते हुए पूजा का विसर्जन करे ।

इस दिन शिव परिवार की आराधना करना कल्याणकारी होता है। प्रदोष व्रत के दिन शिव चालीसा, ​शिव पुराण तथा शिव मंत्रों का जाप करना उत्तम माना जाता है। 

5. पूजा के विसर्जन के फौरन बाद "यानि सूर्यास्त होने के बाद प्रदोषकाल मे ही पूजन करके भोजन कर लेने का विधान है" । भोजन के उपरांत भी शिव स्मरण करे ।

(स्मरण रहें प्रदोष व्रत की मुख्य पूजा प्रदोष काल अर्थात सूर्यास्त के पश्चात छः घटी के भीतर ही की जाती है)

प्रदोष व्रत मे निषेध कर्म:-

1. प्रदोष व्रत मे शारीरिक तथा मानसिक रूप से पूर्ण रूप से शुद्धि बनाकर रखनी चाहिए।

2. प्रदोष व्रत के दिन साफ-सफाई का विशेष ख्याल रखना चाहिए, तथा नित्यकर्म तथा स्नानादि नियमो का पालन करना चाहिए। 

3. प्रदोष व्रत के दिन नये अथवा धुले हुए वस्त्र धारण करना चाहिए। इस दिन काले वस्त्र न पहनना निषेध है।  

4. इस दिन भक्तों को अपनी इन्द्रियों पर नियंत्रण रखकर क्रोध को त्यागना तथा पूर्ण रूप से ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करना आवश्यक होता है। 

5. मांस-मदिरा तथा अन्य राजसिक और तामसिक पदार्थो का त्याग करके सात्विक नियमो का पालन करके केवल शाकाहार भोजन ग्रहण करें। 

गुरुवार प्रदोष व्रत की पौराणिक कथा:-

इस व्रत कथा के अनुसार एक बार इंद्र और वृत्तासुर की सेना में घनघोर युद्ध हुआ। देवताओं ने दैत्य-सेना को पराजित कर नष्ट-भ्रष्ट कर डाला। यह देख वृत्तासुर अत्यंत क्रोधित हो स्वयं युद्ध को उद्यत हुआ। आसुरी माया से उसने विकराल रूप धारण कर लिया। सभी देवता भयभीत हो गुरुदेव बृहस्पति की शरण में पहूंचे। बृहस्पति महाराज बोले- पहले मैं तुम्हें वृत्तासुर का वास्तविक परिचय दे

वृत्तासुर बड़ा तपस्वी और कर्मनिष्ठ है। उसने गंधमादन पर्वत पर घोर तपस्या कर शिवजी को प्रसन्न किया। पूर्व समय में वह चित्ररथ नाम का राजा था। एक बार वह अपने विमान से कैलाश पर्वत चला गया।वहां शिवजी के वाम अंग में माता पार्वती को विराजमान देख वह उपहासपूर्वक बोला- 'हे प्रभो! मोह-माया में फंसे होने के कारण हम स्त्रियों के वशीभूत रहते हैं किंतु देवलोक में ऐसा दृष्टिगोचर नहीं हुआ कि स्त्री आलिंगनबद्ध हो सभा में बैठे।'चित्ररथ के यह वचन सुन सर्वव्यापी शिवशंकर हंसकर बोले- 'हे राजन! मेरा व्यावहारिक दृष्टिकोण पृथक है। मैंने मृत्युदाता-कालकूट महाविष का पान किया है, फिर भी तुम साधारणजन की भांति मेरा उपहास उड़ाते हो!'

माता पार्वती क्रोधित हो चित्ररथ से संबोधित हुईं- 'अरे दुष्ट! तूने सर्वव्यापी महेश्‍वर के साथ ही मेरा भी उपहास उड़ाया है अतएव मैं तुझे वह शिक्षा दूंगी कि फिर तू ऐसे संतों के उपहास का दुस्साहस नहीं करेगा- अब तू दैत्य स्वरूप धारण कर विमान से नीचे गिर, मैं तुझे शाप देती हूं।'

जगदम्बा भवानी के अभिशाप से चित्ररथ राक्षस योनि को प्राप्त हुआ और त्वष्टा नामक ऋषि के श्रेष्ठ तप से उत्पन्न हो वृत्तासुर बना।

गुरुदेव बृहस्पति आगे बोले- 'वृत्तासुर बाल्यकाल से ही शिवभक्त रहा है अत हे इंद्र! तुम बृहस्पति प्रदोष व्रत कर शंकर भगवान को प्रसन्न करो।'

देवराज ने गुरुदेव की आज्ञा का पालन कर बृहस्पति प्रदोष व्रत किया। गुरु प्रदोष व्रत के प्रताप से इंद्र ने शीघ्र ही वृत्तासुर पर विजय प्राप्त कर ली और देवलोक में शांति छा गई। अत: प्रदोष व्रत हर शिव भक्त को अवश्य करना चाहिए।

 Pradosh fast has special significance in Hinduism.  Just as there are two Ekadashi in a month, similarly Pradosh Vrat comes twice in a month on the Trayodashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha respectively.  In this way there are 24 Pradosh fasts in a year.

 This fast is dedicated to Lord Shiva.  This fast is done by worshiping Lord Shiva, to attain the happiness of Lord Shankar, to attain longevity, to have children, happiness and prosperity and to be free from the bonds of birth and death, that is, to attain salvation and dominion.

 This fast connects the worshiper with "Dharma" and "Moksha", and removes it from "Artha" and "Kama".

 According to Skanda Purana, people who worship Shiva get freedom from sorrow, poverty, scarcity, debt and fear of death and there is a continuous increase in the attainment of wealth-grains, woman-son, happiness-good fortune.  It is believed that whoever observes this fast, and offers prayers according to the law, the blessings of Bholenath and Goddess Parvati always remain on him.  Shiva is considered the main deity of Pradosh fast.  Parvati ji is also worshiped with him.  People of any age can keep this fast.

 Pradosh Vrat is observed on Trayodashi Tithi of every month.  Their name keeps changing on the basis of the day i.e. "Var".  In other words, Pradosh Vrat comes on different days of the week, it is believed that on coming on different days of the week, according to those days, the fast gets different types of auspicious results.

 On 14th April 2022, Pradosh Vrat is coming on Thursday, it is called Thursday Pradosh.  Due to this, the planet Jupiter not only gives auspicious effects, but by doing this one also gets the blessings of the ancestors.  Often this Pradosh is done to get a son and for the destruction of enemies and dangers.  According to Shri Sutji- This is the most excellent enemy destroyer devotional fast.

 This fast is also kept for getting success from all sides.  It has been said in Hindu religious scriptures that one who observes the Guru Pradosh Trayodashi fast, gets the virtuous result equal to donating a hundred cows and this fast destroys all kinds of sufferings and sins.  Just by listening to the story of this fast, one gets the auspicious boon of opulence and victory.

 Other Significance of Pradosh Vrat:-

 All the wishes of a person are fulfilled by performing Pradosh Vrat and Shiva Puja.  Pradosh fasting brings happiness and prosperity in the family.  By the grace of Shiva, sufferings are removed and a healthy life is attained.

 According to mythological beliefs, Lord Shiva is the one to be easily pleased.  He is the beginning, he is the end.  From him there is life, from him there is death.  That is Mahakal.  Those who observe Pradosh fast on Trayodashi get freedom from diseases, happiness and prosperity in life.  Suffering and sin are destroyed.  Those people who do not have any children, those people get the happiness of children for the growth of their offspring.

 Method of fasting Pradosh :-

 Special: - Pradosh fast is worshiped from sunset to 6 Ghati i.e. 2 hours 24 minutes duration, this period is called Pradosh Kaal, (Some scholars consider the period of 3 hours after sunset i.e. 1 hour 12 minutes.  considers the time period)

 Pradosh fast is worshiped only during the Pradosh period.  It is believed that by worshiping Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati together on the day of Pradosh, the sins of many births are washed away and the mind becomes pure.

 1. To observe Pradosh Vrat, the seeker should get up before sunrise on Trayodashi, worship Lord Shiva after taking bath.

 2. Food is not taken during this fast for the whole day, that is, one has to remain fast.

 3. After fasting for the whole day, bathe again before sunset and wear white clothes.

 4. Now prepare a pavilion for worship at a quiet place in the North-East.

 After washing the place of worship with pure water, sprinkle it with Ganges water, if possible it should be coated with cow dung.

 In this mandap, using five colors, draw the shape of a lotus flower.

 Install the idol or picture of Lord Shiva

 Now make the resolution of Pradosh fast in Hindi or Sanskrit in this way :-

 "Mum Shiv Prasad Prapti Kamnaya Pradosh Vratangi Bhootam Shivpujanam Karishye"

 (Interpretation- With the desire to get the blessings of Lord Shiva, I worship Lord Shiva as part of Pradosh fast)

 In this way, after making a resolution, put a tilak of ashes and sandalwood on the forehead and wear a rosary of rudaksha around the neck.

 Now invoke Lord Shiva by reciting the following mantra:-

 ,  Pinakapanaye Namah.

 ,  Om Shivaay Namah.  Take a bath with the mantra.

 ,  Pashupataye Namah.

 ,  Om Uma Maheshwarabhayam Namah.

 Offer scent, flowers, incense-lamp, and naivedya with the mantra, and request should be made:-

 "O Lord! Come with Mother Parvati and accept my worship"

 After that after chanting the mantra or doing the story, one can pray through the following mantra:-

 Jaynath Kripsindho Jai Bhaktartibhanjan.

 Jai Dustarsansar-Sagarotaran Prabho

 Mahabhaga Sansaratsya Khidhet in Prasidh.

 Sarvapaapakshayam Kritva Rakshak Mother Parmeshwar

 After this chant the following mantra according to your ability:-

 Om Namah Shivaya

 The above mantra is very rewarding, so this mantra should be chanted.

 In the end..  Mahadevaya Namah.  While chanting the mantra immerse the worship.

 Worshiping Shiva family on this day is beneficial.  It is considered best to chant Shiva Chalisa, Shiva Purana and Shiva Mantras on the day of Pradosh fast.

 5. Immediately after the immersion of the worship, "that is, after sunset, there is a law to take food after worshiping in Pradosh Kaal".  Remember Shiva even after the meal.

 (Remember that the main worship of Pradosh Vrat is done within six hours of Pradosh period i.e. after sunset)

 Prohibited Karma in Pradosh Vrat:-

 1. During Pradosh fast one should maintain complete purification physically and mentally.

 2. Special care should be taken of cleanliness on the day of Pradosh fast, and the rules of routine work and bathing should be followed.

 3. New or washed clothes should be worn on the day of Pradosh fast.  It is prohibited not to wear black clothes on this day.

 4. On this day, it is necessary for the devotees to control their senses and give up anger and follow celibacy completely.

 5. Relinquishing meat-liquor and other rajasic and tamasic substances and follow the sattvik rules and take only vegetarian food.

 Mythology of Thursday Pradosh Vrat:-

 According to this fast story, once there was a fierce battle between the army of Indra and Vrittasura.  The gods defeated and destroyed the demon army.  Seeing this, Vrittasura became very angry and himself got ready for war.  He took a formidable form from the demonic Maya.  All the gods were frightened and reached Gurudev in the shelter of Jupiter.  Brihaspati Maharaj said - first let me give you the real introduction of Vrittasur

 Vrittasura is very ascetic and hardworking.  He pleased Shiva by doing severe penance on the Gandhamadan mountain.  In earlier times he was a king named Chitraratha.  Once he went to Mount Kailash in his plane.  Due to the curse of Jagadamba Bhavani, Chitraratha got the demon Yoni and became Vrittasura born from the excellent penance of a sage named Tvashta.

 Gurudev Brihaspati further said - 'Vritasur has been a devotee of Shiva since childhood, so O Indra!  You please Lord Shankar by fasting Brihaspati Pradosh.

 Devraj observed the Brihaspati Pradosh fast following the orders of Gurudev.  Due to the glory of Guru Pradosh Vrat, Indra soon conquered Vratasura and there was peace in Devlok.  Therefore, every Shiva devotee must observe Pradosh Vrat.

 चैत्र मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की प्रतिपदा को प्रतिवर्ष नये विक्रम संवत्सर का प्रारंभ होता है और उसके आठ दिन बाद ही चैत्र शुक्ल पक्ष की नवमी को हिंदुओ का पर्व राम जन्मोत्सव जिसे रामनवमी के नाम से मनाया जाता है, इस वर्ष श्रीराम नवमी के पर्व 10 अप्रैल 2022 को मनाया जा रहा है। हमारे देश में राम और कृष्ण दो ऐसी महिमाशाली विभूतियाँ रही हैं जिनका अमिट प्रभाव समूचे भारत के जनमानस पर सदियों से अनवरत चला आ रहा है।

रामनवमी, भगवान राम की स्‍मृति को समर्पित है। राम सदाचार के प्रतीक हैं, और इन्हें "मर्यादा पुरुषोतम" कहा जाता है। रामनवमी को राम के जन्‍मदिन की स्‍मृति में मनाया जाता है। राम को भगवान विष्णु का अवतार माना जाता है, जो पृथ्वी पर अजेय रावण (मनुष्‍य रूप में असुर राजा) से युद्ध लड़ने के लिए आए। राम राज्‍य (राम का शासन) शांति व समृद्धि की अवधि का पर्यायवाची बन गया है। रामनवमी के दिन, श्रद्धालु बड़ी संख्‍या में उनके जन्‍मोत्‍सव को मनाने के लिए राम जी की मूर्तियों को पालने में झुलाते हैं। इस महान राजा की काव्‍य तुलसी रामायण में राम की कहानी का वर्णन है।

मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम परिचय

भगवान विष्णु ने राम रूप में असुरों का संहार करने के लिए पृथ्वी पर अवतार लिया और जीवन में मर्यादा का पालन करते हुए मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम कहलाए। आज भी मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम राम का जन्मोत्सव तो धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है पर उनके आदर्शों को जीवन में नहीं उतारा जाता। अयोध्या के राजकुमार होते हुए भी भगवान राम अपने पिता के वचनों को पूरा करने के लिए संपूर्ण वैभव को त्याग 14 वर्ष के लिए वन चले गए और आज देखें तो वैभव की लालसा में ही पुत्र अपने माता-पिता का काल बन रहा है।

श्री राम का जन्म

पुरुषोतम भगवान राम का जन्म चैत्र मास की शुक्ल पक्ष की नवमी को पुनर्वसु नक्षत्र तथा कर्क लग्न में कौशल्या की कोख से हुआ था। यह दिन भारतीय जीवन में पुण्य पर्व माना जाता हैं। इस दिन सरयू नदी में स्नान करके लोग पुण्य लाभ कमाते हैं।

अगस्त्यसंहिता के अनुसार

मंगल भवन अमंगल हारी, 

दॄवहुसु दशरथ अजिर बिहारि॥

अगस्त्यसंहिता के अनुसार चैत्र शुक्ल पक्ष की नवमी, के दिन पुनर्वसु नक्षत्र, कर्कलग्‍न में जब सूर्य अन्यान्य पाँच ग्रहों की शुभ दृष्टि के साथ मेष राशि पर विराजमान थे, तभी साक्षात्‌ भगवान् श्रीराम का माता कौशल्या के गर्भ से जन्म हुआ।

धार्मिक दृष्टि से चैत्र शुक्ल नवमी का विशेष महत्व है। त्रेता युग में चैत्र शुक्ल नवमी के दिन रघुकुल शिरोमणि महाराज दशरथ एवं महारानी कौशल्या के यहाँ अखिल ब्रह्माण्ड नायक अखिलेश ने पुत्र के रूप में जन्म लिया था। राम का जन्म दिन के बारह बजे हुआ था, जैसे ही सौंदर्य निकेतन, शंख, चक्र, गदा, पद्म धारण कि‌ए हु‌ए चतुर्भुजधारी श्रीराम प्रकट हु‌ए तो माता कौशल्या उन्हें देखकर विस्मित हो ग‌ईं। राम के सौंदर्य व तेज को देखकर उनके नेत्र तृप्त नहीं हो रहे थे। देवलोक भी अवध के सामने श्रीराम के जन्मोत्सव को देखकर फीका लग रहा था। जन्मोत्सव में देवता, ऋषि, किन्नर, चारण सभी शामिल होकर आनंद उठा रहे थे। हम प्रतिवर्ष चैत्र शुक्ल नवमी को राम जन्मोत्सव मनाते हैं और राममय होकर कीर्तन, भजन, कथा आदि में रम जाते हैं। रामनवमी के दिन ही गोस्वामी तुलसीदास ने रामचरितमानस की रचना का श्रीगणेश किया था।

    रामनवमी की पूजा विधि

हिन्दू धर्म में रामनवमी के दिन पूजा की जाती है। रामनवमी की पूजा के लिए आवश्‍यक सामग्री रोली, ऐपन, चावल, जल, फूल, एक घंटी और एक शंख हैं। पूजा के बाद परिवार की सबसे छोटी महिला सदस्‍य परिवार के सभी सदस्‍यों को टीका लगाती है। रामनवमी की पूजा में पहले देवताओं पर जल, रोली और ऐपन चढ़ाया जाता है, इसके बाद मूर्तियों पर मुट्ठी भरके चावल चढ़ाये जाते हैं। पूजा के बाद आ‍रती की जाती है और आरती के बाद गंगाजल अथवा सादा जल एकत्रित हुए सभी जनों पर छिड़का जाता है।

श्री रामनवमी व्रत विधि

रामनवमी के दिन जो व्यक्ति पूरे दिन उपवास रखकर भगवान श्रीराम की पूजा करता है, तथा अपनी आर्थिक स्थिति के अनुसार दान-पुण्य करता है, वह अनेक जन्मों के पापों को भस्म करने में समर्थ होता है।

रामनवमी का व्रत महिलाओं के द्वारा किया जाता है। इस दिन व्रत करने वाली महिला को प्रात: सुबह उठना चाहिए। घर की साफ-सफाई कर घर में गंगाजल छिड़क कर शुद्ध कर लेना चाहिए। इसके पश्चात स्नान करके व्रत का संकल्प लेना चाहिए। इसके बाद एक लकड़ी के चौकोर टुकड़े पर सतिया बनाकर एक जल से भरा गिलास रखना चाहिए और अपनी अंगुली से चाँदी का छल्ला निकाल कर रखना चाहिए। इसे प्रतीक रुप से गणेशजी माना जाता है। व्रत कथा सुनते समय हाथ में गेहूँ-बाजरा आदि के दाने लेकर कहानी सुनने का भी महत्व कहा गया है। रामनवमी के व्रत के दिन मंदिर में अथवा मकान पर ध्वजा, पताका, तोरण और बंदनवार आदि से सजाने का विशेष विधि-विधान है। व्रत के दिन कलश स्थापना और राम जी के परिवार की पूजा करनी चाहिए, और भगवान श्री राम का दिनभर भजन, स्मरण, स्तोत्रपाठ, दान, पुण्य, हवन, पितृश्राद्व और उत्सव किया जाना चाहिए।

श्री रामनवमी व्रत कथा

राम, सीता और लक्ष्मण वन में जा रहे थे। सीता जी और लक्ष्मण को थका हुआ देखकर राम जी ने थोड़ा रुककर आराम करने का विचार किया और एक बुढ़िया के घर गए। बुढिया सूत कात रही थी। बुढ़िया ने उनकी आवभगत की और बैठाया, स्नान-ध्यान करवाकर भोजन करवाया। राम जी ने कहा- बुढिया माई, "पहले मेरा हंस मोती चुगाओ, तो में भी करूं।" बुढ़िया बेचारी के पास मोती कहाँ से आवें, सूत कात कर ग़रीब गुज़ारा करती थी। अतिथि को ना कहना भी वह ठीक नहीं समझती थी। दुविधा में पड़ गई। अत: दिल को मज़बूत कर राजा के पास पहुँच गई। और अंजली मोती देने के लिये विनती करने लगी। राजा अचम्भे में पड़ा कि इसके पास खाने को दाने नहीं हैं और मोती उधार मांग रही है। इस स्थिति में बुढ़िया से मोती वापस प्राप्त होने का तो सवाल ही नहीं उठता। आखिर राजा ने अपने नौकरों से कहकर बुढ़िया को मोती दिला दिये। बुढ़िया मोती लेकर घर आई, हंस को मोती चुगाए और मेहमानों की आवभगत की। रात को आराम कर सवेरे राम जी, सीता जी और लक्ष्मण जी जाने लगे। राम जी ने जाते हुए उसके पानी रखने की जगह पर मोतियों का एक पेड़ लगा दिया। दिन बीतते गये और पेड़ बड़ा हुआ, पेड़ बढ़ने लगा, पर बुढ़िया को कु़छ पता नहीं चला। मोती के पेड़ से पास-पड़ौस के लोग चुग-चुगकर मोती ले जाने लगे। एक दिन जब बुढ़िया उसके नीचे बैठी सूत कात रही थी। तो उसकी गोद में एक मोती आकर गिरा। बुढ़िया को तब ज्ञात हुआ। उसने जल्दी से मोती बांधे और अपने कपड़े में बांधकर वह क़िले की ओर ले चली़। उसने मोती की पोटली राजा के सामने रख दी। इतने सारे मोती देख राजा अचम्भे में पड़ गया। उसके पूछने पर बुढ़िया ने राजा को सारी बात बता दी। राजा के मन में लालच आ गया। वह बुढ़िया से मोती का पेड़ मांगने लगा। बुढ़िया ने कहा कि आस-पास के सभी लोग ले जाते हैं। आप भी चाहे तो ले लें। मुझे क्या करना है। राजा ने तुरन्त पेड़ मंगवाया और अपने दरबार में लगवा दिया। पर रामजी की मर्जी, मोतियों की जगह कांटे हो गये और आते-आते लोगों के कपड़े उन कांटों से ख़राब होने लगे। एक दिन रानी की ऐड़ी में एक कांटा चुभ गया और पीड़ा करने लगा। राजा ने पेड़ उठवाकर बुढ़िया के घर वापस भिजवा दिया। पेड़ पर पहले की तरह से मोती लगने लगे। बुढ़िया आराम से रहती और ख़ूब मोती बांटती।

श्री राम नवमी व्रत का फल

श्री रामनवमी का व्रत करने से व्यक्ति के ज्ञान में वृ्द्धि होती है। उसकी धैर्य शक्ति का विस्तार होता है। इसके अतिरिक्त उपवासक को विचार शक्ति, बुद्धि, श्रद्धा, भक्ति और पवित्रता की भी वृ्द्धि होती है। इस व्रत के विषय में कहा जाता है, कि जब इस व्रत को निष्काम भाव से किया जाता है। और आजीवन किया जाता है, तो इस व्रत के फल सर्वाधिक प्राप्त होते हैं। रामनवमी और जन्माष्टमी तो उल्लासपूर्वक मनाते हैं पर उनके कर्म व संदेश को नहीं अपनाते। कृष्ण द्वारा अर्जुन को दिया गया गीता ज्ञान आज सिर्फ एक ग्रंथ बनकर रह गया है। तुलसीदासजी ने रामचरितमानस में भगवान राम के जीवन का वर्णन करते हुए बताया है कि श्रीराम प्रातः अपने माता-पिता के चरण स्पर्श करते थे जबकि आज चरण स्पर्श तो दूर बच्चे माता-पिता की बात तक नहीं मानते।

 Ram Navami is dedicated to the memory of Lord Rama.  Rama is the epitome of virtue, and is called "Maryada Purushottam".  Ram Navami is celebrated in the memory of Ram's birthday.  Rama is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who came to earth to fight the invincible Ravana (the demon king in human form).  Ram Rajya (Rama's rule) has become synonymous with a period of peace and prosperity.  On the day of Ram Navami, a large number of devotees swing the idols of Rama in cradles to celebrate his birth anniversary.  The story of Rama is described in Tulsi Ramayana, the poem of this great king.

 Maryada Purushottam Introduction

 Lord Vishnu incarnated on earth in the form of Rama to kill the Asuras and was called Maryada Purushottam, following the rules in life.  Even today, the birth anniversary of Maryada Purushottam Ram is celebrated with pomp, but his ideals are not implemented in life.  Despite being the prince of Ayodhya, Lord Rama left the entire splendor and went to the forest for 14 years to fulfill the words of his father, and today, in the longing for glory, the son is becoming the time of his parents.

 Birth of Shri Ram

 Purushottam Lord Rama was born on the ninth of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month from Punarvasu Nakshatra and Kaushalya's womb in Cancer ascendant.  This day is considered a holy festival in Indian life.  On this day people earn meritorious benefits by bathing in the Sarayu river.

 According to Agastyasamhita, on the Navami of Chaitra Shukla Paksha, Punarvasu Nakshatra, when the Sun was sitting on Aries with the auspicious sight of other five planets in the Cancer ascendant, only then Lord Shri Ram was born from the womb of Mother Kaushalya.

 Chaitra Shukla Navami has special significance from religious point of view.  In Treta Yuga, on the day of Chaitra Shukla Navami, the Akhil universe hero Akhilesh was born as a son to Raghukul Shiromani Maharaj Dasharatha and Maharani Kaushalya.  Rama was born at twelve o'clock in the day, as soon as the four-armed Shri Ram, holding the Soundarya Niketan, the conch shell, the wheel, the mace, the Padma, appeared, Mother Kaushalya was astonished to see him.  Seeing the beauty and brilliance of Rama, his eyes were not satisfied.  Devlok also looked pale upon seeing the birth anniversary of Shri Ram in front of Awadh.  The deities, rishis, kinnars, bards were all participating and enjoying the birth festival.  We celebrate Ram Janmotsav every year on Chaitra Shukla Navami and get engrossed in kirtans, bhajans, stories etc.  On the day of Ramnavami, Goswami Tulsidas started the creation of Ramcharitmanas.

     Ramnavmi worship method

 In Hinduism, worship is done on the day of Ram Navami.  The materials required for the Ramnavami puja are roli, apen, rice, water, flowers, a bell and a conch.  After the puja, the youngest female member of the family vaccinates all the members of the family.  In the worship of Ramnavami, water, roli and apen are first offered to the deities, after which a handful of rice is offered to the idols.  Aarti is performed after the puja and after the aarti Gangajal or plain water is sprinkled on all the people gathered.

 On the day of Ramnavami, the person who worships Lord Shri Ram by fasting for the whole day, and does charity and charity according to his financial condition, he is able to burn the sins of many births.

 Ramnavami fast is observed by women.  A woman observing a fast on this day should wake up early in the morning.  After cleaning the house, it should be purified by sprinkling Gangajal in the house.  After this, take a bath and take a vow of fasting.  After this, a glass filled with water should be kept on a square piece of wood and a silver ring should be kept with your finger.  It is symbolically considered to be Ganeshji.  While listening to the fast story, the importance of listening to the story by taking grains of wheat-millet etc. in hand has also been said.  On the day of fasting of Ramnavami, there is a special ritual to decorate the temple or house with flag, flag, pylon and bandanavar etc.  On the day of the fast, worship of the Kalash and Ram's family should be done, and Lord Shri Ram should be worshiped throughout the day, remembrance, hymns, charity, virtue, havan, Pitrushradh and Utsav should be done.

 Rama, Sita and Lakshmana were going to the forest.  Seeing Sita ji and Lakshmana tired, Ram ji thought of taking rest for a while and went to an old lady's house.  The old lady was spinning the yarn.  The old lady welcomed him and made him sit, bathe and meditate and got him food.  Ram ji said - old lady, "First pick my swan pearl, then I will also do it."  From where did the pearls come to the poor old woman, the poor lived by spinning yarn.  She didn't even think it right to say no to the guest.  Got in trouble.  Therefore, strengthening her heart, she reached the king.  And Anjali started pleading to give pearls.  The king was astonished that he did not have grains to eat and Moti was asking for a loan.  In this situation, the question of getting the pearl back from the old lady does not arise.  After all, the king told his servants and gave the pearls to the old lady.  The old lady came home with the pearls, plucked the pearls for the swan and welcomed the guests.  After taking rest at night, Ram ji, Sita ji and Lakshman ji started leaving in the morning.  On his way, Ram ji planted a tree of pearls at his place of keeping water.  Days passed and the tree grew, the tree started growing, but the old lady did not know anything.  From the pearl tree, the people of the neighborhood started taking pearls by stealth.  One day when the old lady sitting under him was spinning yarn.  So a pearl came and fell in his lap.  Then the old lady knew.  She quickly tied the pearls and tied it in her cloth and led her towards the fort.  He placed the pearl bundle in front of the king.  The king was astonished to see so many pearls.  On asking him, the old lady told the whole thing to the king.  Greed came in the mind of the king.  He started asking for a pearl tree from the old lady.  The old lady said that everyone around takes her away.  If you want, take it too.  what I have to do.  The king immediately ordered the tree and got it installed in his court.  But according to Ramji, instead of pearls there were thorns and people's clothes started getting spoiled by those thorns.  One day a thorn pricked the queen's heel and started suffering.  The king picked up the tree and sent it back to the old lady's house.  Pearls started appearing on the tree as before.  The old lady lived comfortably and distributed a lot of pearls.

नवरात्र-पूजन के नौवें दिन माँ सिद्धिदात्री की पूजा की जाती है। नवमी के दिन सभी सिद्धियों की प्राप्ति होती है। सिद्धियां हासिल करने के उद्देश्य से जो साधक भगवती सिद्धिदात्री की पूजा कर रहे हैं उन्हें नवमी के दिन इनका पूजन अवश्य करना चाहिए।

सिद्धि और मोक्ष देने वाली दुर्गा को सिद्धिदात्री कहा जाता है। नवरात्र के नौवें दिन जीवन में यश बल और धन की प्राप्ति हेतु इनकी पूजा की जाती है। तथा नवरात्रों का की नौ रात्रियों का समापन होता है। माँ दुर्गा की नौवीं शक्ति सिद्धिदात्री हैं, इन रूपों में अंतिम रूप है देवी सिद्धिदात्री का होता है। देवी सिद्धिदात्री का रूप अत्यंत सौम्य है, देवी की चार भुजाएं हैं दायीं भुजा में माता ने चक्र और गदा धारण किया है, मां बांयी भुजा में शंख और कमल का फूल है। प्रसन्न होने पर माँ सिद्धिदात्री सम्पूर्ण जगत की रिद्धि सिद्धि अपने भक्तों को प्रदान करती हैं।

माँ की सिद्धियां

मां दुर्गा की नौवीं शक्ति का नाम सिद्धिदात्री है। वे सिद्धिदात्री, सिंह वाहिनी, चतुर्भुजा तथा प्रसन्नवदना हैं। मार्कंडेय पुराण में अणिमा, महिमा, गरिमा, लघिमा प्राप्ति, प्राकाम्य, ईशित्व एवं वशित्व- ये आठ सिद्धियां बतलाई गई हैं। इन सभी सिद्धियों को देने वाली सिद्धिदात्री मां हैं। मां के दिव्य स्वरूप का ध्यान हमें अज्ञान, तमस, असंतोष आदि से निकालकर स्वाध्याय, उद्यम, उत्साह, क‌र्त्तव्यनिष्ठा की ओर ले जाता है और नैतिक व चारित्रिक रूप से सबल बनाता है। हमारी तृष्णाओं व वासनाओं को नियंत्रित करके हमारी अंतरात्मा को दिव्य पवित्रता से परिपूर्ण करते हुए हमें स्वयं पर विजय प्राप्त करने की शक्ति देता है। देवी पुराण के अनुसार, भगवान शिव ने इन्हीं शक्तिस्वरूपा देवी जी की उपासना करके सभी सिद्धियां प्राप्त की थीं, जिसके प्रभाव से शिव जी का स्वरूप अ‌र्द्धनारीश्वर का हो गया था।

इसके अलावा ब्रह्ववैवर्त पुराण में अनेक सिद्धियों का वर्णन है 

जैसे 

1. सर्वकामावसायिता 

2. सर्वज्ञत्व 

3. दूरश्रवण 

4. परकायप्रवेशन 

5. वाक्‌सिद्धि 

6. कल्पवृक्षत्व

कुल मिलाकर 18 प्रकार की सिद्धियों का हमारे शास्त्रों में वर्णन मिलता है। यह देवी इन सभी सिद्धियों की स्वामिनी हैं। इनकी पूजा से भक्तों को ये सिद्धियां प्राप्त होती हैं।

माँ सिद्धिदात्री की पूजा विधि

सिद्धियां हासिल करने के उद्देश्य से जो साधक भगवती सिद्धिदात्री की पूजा कर रहे हैं। उन्हें नवमी के दिन निर्वाण चक्र का भेदन करना चाहिए। दुर्गा पूजा में इस तिथि को विशेष हवन किया जाता है। हवन से पूर्व सभी देवी दवाताओं एवं माता की पूजा कर लेनी चाहिए। हवन करते वक्त सभी देवी दवताओं के नाम से हवि यानी अहुति देनी चाहिए. बाद में माता के नाम से अहुति देनी चाहिए। दुर्गा सप्तशती के सभी श्लोक मंत्र रूप हैं अत:सप्तशती के सभी श्लोक के साथ आहुति दी जा सकती है। देवी के बीज मंत्र “ऊँ ह्रीं क्लीं चामुण्डायै विच्चे नमो नम:” से कम से कम 108 बार अहुति दें।

मेहनत और परिश्रम के उपरांत भी धन लाभ नहीं हो रहा, मां लक्ष्मी की प्राप्ति नहीं हो रही हो तो यह उपाय करें

मां भगवती सिद्घदात्री को हर रोज भगवती का ध्यान करते हुए पीले पुष्प अर्पित करें। मोती चूर के लड्डुओं का भोग लगाएं ओर श्री विग्रह के सामने घी का दीपक जलाएं। ऊँ ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं चामुण्डायै विच्चै: ऊँ सिद्घिदात्री विच्चै: नम:। मंत्र का जाप करें। धन की कमी नहीं रहेगी। धन लाभ के लिए मां भगवती के मंदिर में गुलाब की सुगंधित धूपबत्ती शुक्रवार के दिन दान करें। प्रत्येक शुक्लपक्ष की नवमी को 7 मुट्ठी काले तिल पारिवारिक सदस्यों के ऊपर से 7 बार उसार कर उत्तर दिशा में फेंक दे। धन हानि नहीं होगी।

Worship method of Siddhidatri form of Adi Shakti Maa Durga on the ninth day of Navratri

 Mother Siddhidatri's Form

 〰

 Maa Siddhidatri is worshiped on the ninth day of Navratri-worship.  On the occasion of Navmi eternal knowledge is gained.  Sadhaks who are worshiping Bhagwati Siddhidatri for the purpose of attaining siddhis must worship her on the day of Navami.

 Durga, who gives siddhi and salvation, is called Siddhidatri.  She is worshiped on the ninth day of Navratri for the attainment of fame, power and wealth in life.  And the nine nights of Navratras come to an end.  The ninth power of Maa Durga is Siddhidatri, the last of these forms is that of Goddess Siddhidatri.  The form of Goddess Siddhidatri is very gentle, the goddess has four arms, in the right arm the mother holds a chakra and a mace, the mother holds a conch shell and a lotus flower in the left arm.  On being pleased, Mother Siddhidatri bestows the Riddhi Siddhis of the entire world to her devotees.

 The name of the ninth power of Maa Durga is Siddhidatri.  They are Siddhidatri, Singh Vahini, Chaturbhuja and Prasannavadana.  Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima attainment, Prakamya, Ishitva and Vashitva – these eight siddhis have been described in the Markandeya Purana.  The giver of all these siddhis is Siddhidatri Maa.  Meditation on the divine form of the mother takes us out of ignorance, tamas, discontent, etc., leads to self-study, enterprise, enthusiasm, devotion to duty and makes us morally and morally strong.  By controlling our cravings and desires, filling our conscience with divine purity, gives us the power to conquer ourselves.  According to Devi Purana, Lord Shiva had attained all the siddhis by worshiping this Shaktiswaroopa Devi ji, due to which the form of Shiva became Ardhanarishvara.

 Apart from this, many siddhis are described in the Brahmavaivarta Purana.

 Worship method of Maa Siddhidatri

 The seekers who are worshiping Bhagwati Siddhidatri for the purpose of attaining siddhis.  They should pierce the Nirvana Chakra on the day of Navami.  A special Havan is performed on this date in Durga Puja.  Before the Havan, all the Goddess, medicines and mother should be worshipped.  While performing the havan, a sacrifice should be made in the name of all the gods and goddesses.  Later the sacrifice should be made in the name of the mother.  All the shlokas of Durga Saptashati are in the form of mantra, hence all the shlokas of Saptashati can be sacrificed.  Offer sacrifice at least 108 times with the Beej Mantra of Goddess “Om Hreem Klein Chamundayai Viche Namo Namah”.

श्वेत वृषे समारूढ़ा श्वेताम्बर धरा शुचि:। महागौरी शुभं दद्यान्महादेव प्रमोददा॥

माँ दुर्गा का अष्टम रूप महागौरी हैं। महागौरी की चार भुजाएं हैं उनकी दायीं भुजा अभय मुद्रा में हैं और नीचे वाली भुजा में त्रिशूल शोभता है। बायीं भुजा में डमरू डम डम बज रही है और नीचे वाली भुजा से देवी गौरी भक्तों की प्रार्थना सुनकर वरदान देती हैं। जो स्त्री इस देवी की पूजा भक्ति भाव सहित करती हैं उनके सुहाग की रक्षा देवी स्वयं करती हैं। कुंवारी लड़की मां की पूजा करती हैं तो उसे योग्य पति प्राप्त होता है। पुरूष जो देवी गौरी की पूजा करते हैं उनका जीवन सुखमय रहता है देवी उनके पापों को जला देती हैं और शुद्ध अंत:करण देती हैं। मां अपने भक्तों को अक्षय आनंद और तेज प्रदान करती हैं। इनका वर्ण पूर्णतः गौर है, इसलिए ये महागौरी कहलाती हैं। नवरात्रि के अष्टम दिन इनका पूजन किया जाता है। इनकी उपासना से असंभव कार्य भी संभव हो जाते हैं। माँ महागौरी की आराधना से किसी प्रकार के रूप और मनोवांछित फल प्राप्त किया जा सकता है। उजले वस्त्र धारण किये हुए महादेव को आनंद देवे वाली शुद्धता मूर्ती देवी महागौरी मंगलदायिनी हों।

 इनका वर्ण पूर्णतः गौर है। इस गौरता की उपमा शंख, चन्द्र और कून्द के फूल की गयी है। इनकी आयु आठ वर्ष बतायी गयी है। इनका दाहिना ऊपरी हाथ में अभय मुद्रा में और निचले दाहिने हाथ में त्रिशूल है। बांये ऊपर वाले हाथ में डमरू और बांया नीचे वाला हाथ वर की शान्त मुद्रा में है। पार्वती रूप में इन्होंने भगवान शिव को पाने के लिए कठोर तपस्या की थी। इन्होंने प्रतिज्ञा की थी कि व्रियेअहं वरदं शम्भुं नान्यं देवं महेश्वरात्। गोस्वामी तुलसीदास के अनुसार इन्होंने शिव के वरण के लिए कठोर तपस्या का संकल्प लिया था जिससे इनका शरीर काला पड़ गया था। इनकी तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर जब शिव जी ने इनके शरीर को पवित्र गंगाजल से मलकर धोया तब वह विद्युत के समान अत्यन्त कांतिमान गौर हो गया, तभी से इनका नाम गौरी पड़ा।

महागौरी आदी शक्ति हैं इनके तेज से संपूर्ण विश्व प्रकाश-मान होता है इनकी शक्ति अमोघ फलदायिनी हैम माँ महागौरी की अराधना से भक्तों को सभी कष्ट दूर हो जाते हैं तथा देवी का भक्त जीवन में पवित्र और अक्षय पुण्यों का अधिकारी बनता है।

दुर्गा सप्तशती में शुभ निशुम्भ से पराजित होकर गंगा के तट पर जिस देवी की प्रार्थना देवतागण कर रहे थे वह महागौरी हैं। देवी गौरी के अंश से ही कौशिकी का जन्म हुआ जिसने शुम्भ निशुम्भ के प्रकोप से देवताओं को मुक्त कराया। यह देवी गौरी शिव की पत्नी हैं यही शिवा और शाम्भवी के नाम से भी पूजित होती हैं।

नवरात्रे के दसों दिन कुवारी कन्या भोजन कराने का विधान है परंतु अष्टमी के दिन का विशेष महत्व है। इस दिन महिलाएं अपने सुहाग के लिए देवी मां को चुनरी भेंट करती हैं। देवी गौरी की पूजा का विधान भी पूर्ववत है अर्थात जिस प्रकार सप्तमी तिथि तक आपने मां की पूजा की है उसी प्रकार अष्टमी के दिन भी देवी की पंचोपचार सहित पूजा करें। देवी का ध्यान करने के लिए दोनों हाथ जोड़कर इस मंत्र का उच्चारण करें👇

सिद्धगन्धर्वयक्षाद्यैरसुरैरमरैरपि। सेव्यामाना सदा भूयात सिद्धिदा सिद्धिदायिनी॥

 माँ महागौरी की कथा

देवी पार्वती रूप में इन्होंने भगवान शिव को पति-रूप में प्राप्त करने के लिए कठोर तपस्या की थी, एक बार भगवान भोलेनाथ ने पार्वती जी को देखकर कुछ कह देते हैं। जिससे देवी के मन का आहत होता है और पार्वती जी तपस्या में लीन हो जाती हैं। इस प्रकार वषों तक कठोर तपस्या करने पर जब पार्वती नहीं आती तो पार्वती को खोजते हुए भगवान शिव उनके पास पहुँचते हैं वहां पहुंचे तो वहां पार्वती को देखकर आश्चर्य चकित रह जाते हैं। पार्वती जी का रंग अत्यंत ओजपूर्ण होता है, उनकी छटा चांदनी के सामन श्वेत और कुन्द के फूल के समान धवल दिखाई पड़ती है, उनके वस्त्र और आभूषण से प्रसन्न होकर देवी उमा को गौर वर्ण का वरदान देते हैं।

एक कथा अनुसार भगवान शिव को पति रूप में पाने के लिए देवी ने कठोर तपस्या की थी जिससे इनका शरीर काला पड़ जाता है। देवी की तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर भगवान इन्हें स्वीकार करते हैं और शिव जी इनके शरीर को गंगा-जल से धोते हैं तब देवी विद्युत के समान अत्यंत कांतिमान गौर वर्ण की हो जाती हैं तथा तभी से इनका नाम गौरी पड़ा। महागौरी जी से संबंधित एक अन्य कथा भी प्रचलित है इसके जिसके अनुसार, एक सिंह काफी भूखा था, वह भोजन की तलाश में वहां पहुंचा जहां देवी उमा तपस्या कर रही होती हैं। देवी को देखकर सिंह की भूख बढ़ गयी परंतु वह देवी के तपस्या से उठने का इंतजार करते हुए वहीं बैठ गया। इस इंतजार में वह काफी कमज़ोर हो गया। देवी जब तप से उठी तो सिंह की दशा देखकर उन्हें उस पर बहुत दया आती है, और माँ उसे अपना सवारी बना लेती हैं क्योंकि एक प्रकार से उसने भी तपस्या की थी। इसलिए देवी गौरी का वाहन बैल और सिंह दोनों ही हैं।

देवी महागौरी का ध्यान, स्रोत पाठ और कवच का पाठ करने से ‘सोमचक्र’ जाग्रत होता है जिससे संकट से मुक्ति मिलती है और धन, सम्पत्ति और श्री की वृध्दि होती है। इनका वाहन वृषभ है।

दुर्भाग्य नाशक उपाय

1- महागौरी के स्वरूप को दूध से भरी कटोरी में विराजित कर चांदी का सिक्का चढ़ाएं। फिर सिक्के को धोकर हमेशा अपनी जेब में रखें इससे धन संबंधित संमस्या में कमी आएगी।

2- पानी वाले नारियल को सिर से 11 बार घुमाकर बहते हुए जल में प्रवाहित करने से मनचाही इच्छाएं पूरी होंगी।

3- पीपल के ग्यारह पत्ते लें। उन पर राम नाम लिखें पत्तों की माला बनाकर हनुमानजी को पहना दें। इससे सभी प्रकार की परेशानियां दूर होती हैं।

4- किसी एक खाली या शांत कमरे में उत्तर की दिशा की ओर अपना मुंह करके पीले आसन पर बैठ जाएं। अपने सामने तेल के 9 दीपक जलाएं और ये साधनाकाल तक जलते रहने चाहिए। इन 9 दीपकों के सामने लाल चावल की एक ढेरी बनाकर उस पर एक श्रीयंत्र रख लें। इस श्रीयंत्र का कुंकुम, फूल, धूप, तथा दीप से पूजन करें। इस पूरी क्रिया के बाद एक प्लेट पर स्वस्तिक बनाकर उसका पूजन करें। अब इस श्रीयंत्र को अपने घर के पूजा स्थल में स्थापित कर दें तथा शेष सामग्री को नदी में प्रवाहित कर दें। इस प्रयोग से आपको जल्दी ही अचानक धन लाभ होगा।

5- दुर्गाष्टमी हवन के साथ मंत्र को पढ़ते हुए 108 बार अग्नि में घी से आहुतियां दें। इससे यह मंत्र सिद्ध हो जाएगा। इसके बाद रोजाना नित्य सुबह उठकर पूजा के समय इस मंत्र का 21 बार जप अवश्य करें। यदि संभव हो तो अपने परिवारजन से भी इस मंत्र का जप करने के लिए कहें। इससे जीवन भर परिवार में मधुर संबंध बने रहेंगे।

6- यदि आपका विवाह न हो रहा हो या आपके परिवार में किसी का विवाह विलम्ब से हो रहा हो या आपके वैवाहिक जीवन में तनाव है तो यह उपाय बहुत लाभदाय होगा। यह उपाय किसी भी शुक्ल पक्ष की अष्टमी को या नवरात्र की अष्टमी को रात्रि 10 बजे से 12 बजे के बीच में शरु करना चाहिए और नियमित 43 दिन तक करें। अपने सोने वाले कमरे में एक चौकी बिछा तांबे का पात्र रख उसमें जल भर दें। पात्र के अंदर आठ लौंग, आठ हल्दी, आठ साबुत सुपारी, आठ छुआरे, इन सारे सामान को डाल दें। आम के पांच पत्ते दबा कर जटा वाला नारियल पात्र के ऊपर रख दें। वहीं आसन बिछा कर घी का दीपक जलाएं, श्रद्धापूर्वक धूप-दीप अक्षत पुष्प और नैवेद्य अपिर्त करने के उपरांत पांच माला माँ गौरी के मंत्र ॐ ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं चामुण्डायै विच्चे। ॐ महागौरी देव्यै नम: की और एक माला शनि पत्नी नाम स्तुति की करें और रात्रि भूमि शयन करें। प्रात: काल मौन रहते हुए यह सारी सामग्री किसी जलाशय या बहते हुए पानी में प्रवाह कर दें। वैवाहिक समस्याओं का निवारण हो जाएगा।

सब नर करहिं परस्पर प्रीति। चलहिं स्वधर्म निरत श्रुति नीति।।

7- अष्टमी पूजन के साथ नीचे दिए गए हुए मंत्र का 11  माला जप करें। जप के पश्चात माता पार्वती एवं भगवान शिव से विवाह में आ रही बाधाओं को दूर करने की प्रार्थना करें। इस मंत्र के प्रभाव से जल्दी ही विवाह के आसार बन जाते हैं।

 White Trees Samarudha Shvetambara Dhara Shuchi:.  Mahagauri Shubham Dadyanmahadeva Pramodada॥

 Mahagauri is the eighth form of Maa Durga.  Mahagauri has four arms, her right arm is in abhaya mudra and the lower arm holds a trident.  Damru Dum Dum is playing in the left arm and from the lower arm, Goddess Gauri grants a boon after listening to the prayers of the devotees.  The woman who worships this goddess with devotion, the goddess herself protects their honeymoon.  If a virgin girl worships her mother, she gets a suitable husband.  Men who worship Goddess Gauri have a happy life. Goddess burns their sins and gives pure conscience.  Mother bestows inexhaustible joy and radiance to her devotees.  Her character is completely Gaur, hence she is called Mahagauri.  She is worshiped on the eighth day of Navratri.  Even impossible tasks become possible by worshiping him.  By worshiping Maa Mahagauri, any form and desired result can be obtained.  May Mahagauri Mangaldayini, the purity idol of Goddess Mahadev, who is wearing bright clothes, be pleased.

 Their character is completely noticeable.  This glory has been likened to the flowers of conch shell, moon and kunda.  Their age is given as eight years.  He holds Abhaya Mudra in his upper right hand and Trishul in his lower right hand.  Damru is in the left upper hand and the left lower hand is in the calm posture of the groom.  In the form of Parvati, she did severe penance to get Lord Shiva.  He had taken a vow that Vriyaaham Varadam Shambhu Nanyam Devam Maheshwarat.  According to Goswami Tulsidas, he had taken a vow of severe penance for the sake of Shiva, due to which his body had turned black.  Pleased with his penance, when Shiva washed his body with holy Ganges water, then he became very radiant like electricity, since then his name was Gauri.

 Mahagauri is a accustomed power, her brilliance brings light to the whole world, her power is unfailingly fruitful. Worshiping Maa Mahagauri removes all the troubles of the devotees and the devotee of the goddess becomes the owner of holy and inexhaustible virtues in life.

 In Durga Saptashati, defeated by the auspicious Nishumbha, the goddess whom the deities were praying to on the banks of the Ganges is Mahagauri.  Kaushiki was born from the part of Goddess Gauri, who freed the deities from the wrath of Shumbha Nishumbha.  This goddess Gauri is the wife of Shiva, she is also worshiped in the name of Shiva and Shambhavi.

 There is a law to feed virgin girls on ten days of Navratra, but the day of Ashtami has special significance.  On this day, women offer chunari to the mother goddess for their honeymoon.  The law of worshiping Goddess Gauri is also the same, that is, just as you have worshiped the mother till the date of Saptami, in the same way, on the day of Ashtami also worship the Goddess with Panchopchar.  To meditate on the Goddess, chant this mantra with folded hands.

 In the form of Goddess Parvati, he had done severe penance to get Lord Shiva in the form of husband, once Lord Bholenath said something after seeing Parvati.  Due to which the mind of the goddess is hurt and Parvati ji gets absorbed in penance.  In this way, when Parvati does not come after doing severe penance for years, Lord Shiva, searching for Parvati, reaches to her, and when she reaches there, she is astonished to see Parvati there.  The complexion of Parvati ji is very bright, her complexion appears as white as the moonlight and as white as a flower of Kunda, pleased with her clothes and ornaments, grants the boon of fair complexion to Goddess Uma.

 According to a legend, to get Lord Shiva in her husband's form, the goddess did severe penance, due to which her body turns black.  Pleased with the penance of the goddess, God accepts her and Shiva washes her body with Ganga-water, then the goddess becomes very radiant like electricity and since then she was named Gauri.  Another legend related to Mahagauri ji is also prevalent, according to which, a lion was very hungry, in search of food, he reached the place where Goddess Uma is doing penance.  Seeing the goddess, Singh's hunger increased but he sat there waiting for the goddess to wake up from his penance.  In this wait he became very weak.  When the goddess arose from penance, seeing the condition of the lion, she felt very pity on him, and the mother took him as her ride, because in a way she also did penance.  Therefore, the vehicle of Goddess Gauri is both a bull and a lion.

 By meditating, reciting the source text and armor of Goddess Mahagauri, 'Somachakra' is awakened, which gives freedom from troubles and increases wealth, wealth and Shri.  His vehicle is Taurus.

 1- Offer a silver coin to the form of Mahagauri by placing it in a bowl filled with milk.  Then wash the coin and always keep it in your pocket, this will reduce money related problems.

 2- By rotating a coconut with water 11 times from the head and pouring it in the flowing water, the desired wishes will be fulfilled.

 3- Take eleven leaves of peepal.  Write Ram's name on them, make a garland of leaves and wear them to Hanumanji.  This removes all kinds of problems.

 4- Sit on a yellow seat in an empty or quiet room with your face towards the north.  Light 9 oil lamps in front of you and they should be kept burning till the time of sadhna.  Make a heap of red rice in front of these 9 lamps and place a Sriyantra on it.  Worship this Shri Yantra with kumkum, flowers, incense and lamp.  After this whole process, make a swastika on a plate and worship it.  Now install this Shree Yantra in the place of worship of your house and make the rest of the material flow in the river.  With this experiment, you will get sudden monetary gains very soon.

 5- While reciting the mantra with Durgashtami Havan, make offerings with ghee in the fire 108 times.  This will prove this mantra.  After this, wake up in the morning daily and chant this mantra 21 times at the time of worship.  If possible, ask your family members to chant this mantra as well.  Due to this, good relations will remain in the family throughout life.

 6- If you are not getting married or someone in your family is getting married late or there is tension in your married life, then this remedy will be very beneficial.  This remedy should be started on Ashtami of any Shukla Paksha or Ashtami of Navratri between 10 pm to 12 noon and do it regularly for 43 days.  Put a copper vessel in your sleeping room and fill it with water.  Put eight cloves, eight turmeric, eight whole betel nut, eight dates, all these things inside the pot.  Press five mango leaves and place the coconut on top of the pot.  Laying the seat there, light a lamp of ghee, after offering incense-lamp, intact flowers and naivedya with reverence, after offering five beads, the mantra of Maa Gauri, Om Hreem Klein Chamundayai Viche.  Om Mahagauri Devyai Namah and one rosary of praise to Shani wife's name and sleep on the ground at night.  In the morning, while remaining silent, let all this material flow into a reservoir or running water.  Marital problems will be resolved.
