वर्ष 2022 मे पूर्णिमा के अवसर पर सत्यनारायण व्रत 16 फरवरी को रखा जायेगा । स्नान-दान, जप इत्यादि शुभ कामो हेतु माघ पूर्णिमा 16 फरवरी को मनाई जाएगी।
हिन्दू मान्यतानुसार माघ महीने के शुक्ल पक्ष की पंद्रहवीं तिथि को पड़ने वाली पूर्णिमा को माघ पूर्णिमा कहा जाता है। माघ पूर्णिमा के दिन स्नान, दान और जप अत्यंत पुण्यदायी होते हैं।
शास्त्रों मे वर्णित है कि माघ माह में देवता पृथ्वी पर आते हैं और मनुष्य रूप धारण कर प्रयाग में स्नान तथा दान करते हैं । अतः माघ का सम्पूर्ण महीना तो स्नान-दान के लिए तो शुभ है ही, उस पर माघ पूर्णिमा के दिन प्रयाग में त्रिवेणी स्नान करना और भी अधिक शुभ माना जाता है। इससे सभी मनोकामनाओं की पूर्ति होती है, और मोक्ष की भी प्राप्ति होती है।
इस दिन यदि प्रयाग मे संगम स्नान संभव न हो तो घर के नजदीक कुआं, बावड़ी, सरोवर, कोई भी पवित्र नदी जैसे गंगा, यमुना, नर्मदा, इत्यादि में स्नान करना चाहिए, और यदि यह भी संभव न हो तो, अवश्य ही घर मे जल मे गंगाजल मिलाकर स्नान करना चाहिए ।
माघ पूर्णिमा का स्नान सब कुछ प्रदान करता है । इस दिन तीर्थ स्नान से दीर्घ आयु प्राप्त होती है । अकाल मृत्यु से रक्षा होती है । आरोग्य, रूप, बल, सौभाग्य व सदाचरण प्राप्त होता है। संतानवृद्धि, सत्संग, सत्य और उदारभाव आदि का प्राकट्य होता है।
इस दिन व्रत रखने से भी अनंत पुण्य की प्राप्ति होती है। इस दिन पूरे दिन विष्णु भगवान का ध्यान करना चाहिए। उनका नाम स्मरण करें। शाम को सत्यनारायण की कथा करें और चंद्रमा को अर्घ्य देकर व्रत खोलें।
माघ पूर्णिमा में पुण्यस्नान, दान, तप, होम और उपवास भयंकर पापों का भी नाश कर देते हैं और जीव को उत्तम गति प्रदान करते हैं, इसलिए स्वर्ग पाने के अभिलाषी मनुष्य, सभी पापो से मुक्ति पाने के लिए, और भगवान विष्णु जी की प्रीति को पाने के लिए प्रत्येक मनुष्य को "माघ पूर्णिमा" के पावन दिन स्नान, दान, पूजा-पाठ, जप-तप जरूर करना चाहिये
माघ पूर्णिमा के दिन मनाये जाने वाले अन्य उत्सव:-
1. माघ की पूर्णिमा के दिन संत रविदास जयंती मनाई जाती है ।
2. श्री ललित और श्री भैरव जयंती भी इसी दिन मनाई जाती है।
माघ पूर्णिमा पर किए किए जाने वाले पुण्य कर्म
1. ब्रह्म मुहूर्त में बिस्तर त्याग कर पुण्य स्नान करना।
2. सूर्य अर्ध्य
3. विष्णु अथवा सत्यनारायण पूजन, व्रत, जप तथा हवन
4. दान
1. ब्रह्म मुहूर्त में बिस्तर त्याग कर पुण्य स्नान:-
माघ पूर्णिमा के दिन सूर्योदय से पूर्व किसी पवित्र नदी, सरोवर, जलाशय, कुआं या बावड़ी में स्नान करके साफ अथवा नये वस्त्र धारण करना चाहिए ।
2. सूर्य अर्ध्य
स्नान के बाद सूर्य मंत्र के साथ सूर्य देव को अर्घ्य देना चाहिए।
3. विष्णु अथवा सत्यनारायण पूजन, जप तथा हवन
लकडी की चौकी पर पीले रंग का वस्त्र बिछाकर, भगवान विष्णु जी का चित्र स्थापित करना चाहिए ।
पूजा स्थल पर पीतल के लोटे में गंगाजल और जल मिलाकर रखें, उसपर एक नारियल स्थापित करे । तत्पश्चात गाय के घी की ज्योत प्रज्वलित करे ।
तदोपरान्त भगवान विष्णु के मन्त्र का जाप:-
ॐ मधुसूदनाय नमः
उपरोक्त मन्त्र का 108 बार या अपनी सामर्थ्य के अनुसार अधिक से अधिक जाप करें । जाप के बाद जल को घर मे तथा अपनी रसोईघर में छिड़क दें और थोड़ा सा जल स्वयं भी पीएं ।
अंत मे मिट्टी के दीये में देसी कपूर जलाकर सारे घर में घुमा देना चाहिए ।
इसके उपरांत आटे का दीया बनाकर उसमें गाय का घी डालकर, कलावे की बाती से प्रज्वलित करके
एक दोने में हल्दी से स्वस्तिक बनाकर यह दीया उसके ऊपर रखें और मन ही मन अपनी इच्छा बोलते हुए यह दीया केले के पेड़ के नीचे रखकर रोली, मौली, चावल, धूप-दीप, पीले फल, पीले फूल, केले, मिष्ठान आदि से पूजन करें और मन की इच्छा जरूर भगवान के सामने मन ही मन मनोकामना पूर्ण करने हेतु प्रार्थना करे ।
माघ पूर्णिमा पर सत्यनारायण पूजन तथा व्रत:-
इस भगवान सत्यनारायण जी कि कथा की जाती है। भगवान विष्णु की पूजा में केले के पत्ते व फल, पंचामृत, सुपारी, पान, तिल, मोली, रोली, कुमकुम, दूर्वा का उपयोग किया जाता है।
जप तथा हवन
अंत मे काले तिल से हवन और हवन के उपरांत पितरों का तर्पण अवश्य करना चाहिए।
4. माघ पूर्णिमा के दान:-
1. माघ पूर्णिमा को जो भी व्यक्ति अठारह पुराणो का दान या उनमे मे से एक पुराण विशेषतः " ब्रह्रावैवर्तपुराण" का दान करता है, वह जीवन-मरण के झमेलो से मुक्त होकर ब्रह्रालोक मे निवास करता है
2. माघ पूर्णिमा के अवसर पर जो मनुष्य धर्मस्थान मे, गरीबो -लाचारो तथा अपाहिजो को अन्न तथा गर्म कपड़े अथवा बिस्तर का दान करते हैं, वह समस्त जन्तुओ से भरे हुए नरक के दर्शन नही करता और स्वर्ग मे वास करता है ।
3. मध्याह्न काल में गरीब व्यक्ति और ब्राह्मणों को भोजन कराकर दान-दक्षिणा देना चाहिए ।
4. इस दिन गरीबों तथा ब्राह्मणो को स्वर्ण, तिल, कम्बल, पुस्तकें, पंचांग, ऊनी वस्त्र और अन्नादि दान करने से पुण्य मिलता है।
5. माघ पूर्णिमा के दिन जल में तिल प्रवाह करना भी विशेष फलदायी होता है।
6. शास्त्रों के अनुसार इस दिन पीपल के वृक्ष में लक्ष्मी का आगमन होता है। अतः प्रातः स्नानादि अन्य शुभ कर्मो के उपरांत पीपल के पेड़ को जल अर्पित करें और मिठाई का भोग लगाना चाहिए। ऐसा करने से तैतीस कोटि देवताओं की कृपा प्राप्त होती है।
माघ पूर्णिमा पर निषेध कर्म:-
1. शास्त्रों के अनुसार माघ पूर्णिमा के दिन देर तक नहीं सोना चाहिए, इस दिन देर तक सोने से जीवन में दुर्भाग्य आता है।
2. माघ पूर्णिमा के दिन घर को साफ रखना आवश्यक है, इस दिन घर को गंदा रखने से घर में नकारात्मक उर्जा का वास होने लगता है। जिससे लक्ष्मी का आगमन अवरूद्ध होता है।
3. माघ पूर्णिमा के दिन काला वस्त्र पहनना निषेध माना गया है।
4. माघ पूर्णिमा के दिन घर में किसी प्रकार का कलह नहीं करना चाहिए, क्योंकि ऐसा करने से जीवन में सुख-शांति नहीं रहती। इस दिन घर के बुजुर्गों का अपमान नहीं करना चाहिए, क्योंकि ऐसा करने से पितृ दोष लगता है, जिससे जीवन में तमाम तरह की दिक्कतें होने लगती है।
5. माघ पूर्णिमा के दिन श्रौर कर्म अर्थात बाल, दाड़ी, नाखून इत्यादि नहीं कटवाना चाहिए, ऐसा करने से दोष लगता है।
6. माघ पूर्णिमा के दिन भूलवश भी किसी ना तो किसी की निंदा करनी चाहिए और ना ही अपशब्द बोलना चाहिए। मान्यता है कि ऐसा करने से सुख-समृद्धि घर से चली जाती है।

In the year 2022, on the occasion of Purnima, Satyanarayan Vrat will be kept on 16 February. Magh Purnima will be celebrated on 16 February for auspicious works like bathing, charity, chanting etc.
According to Hindu belief, the full moon that falls on the fifteenth day of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Magha is called Magha Purnima. Bathing, charity and chanting on Magha Purnima are extremely rewarding.
It is mentioned in the scriptures that in the month of Magha, the deities come to the earth and take human form and bathe and donate in Prayag. Therefore, the entire month of Magh is not only auspicious for bathing and charity, but taking a Triveni bath in Prayag on the day of Magh Purnima is considered even more auspicious. It fulfills all the wishes and also leads to salvation.
On this day, if it is not possible to take a Sangam bath in Prayag, then one should take a bath in the well, stepwell, lake, any holy river like Ganga, Yamuna, Narmada, etc. near the house, and if this is also not possible, then definitely at home. One should take bath by mixing Gangajal in water.
The bath of Magha Purnima provides everything. Taking a holy dip on this day gives long life. Premature death is saved. Health, form, strength, good fortune and good conduct are attained. There is a manifestation of child growth, satsang, truth and generosity etc.
Even by observing fast on this day one attains infinite virtue. On this day Lord Vishnu should be meditated for the whole day. Remember his name. In the evening, do the story of Satyanarayan and break the fast by offering Arghya to the moon.
Punyasnana, charity, penance, homa and fasting in Magha Purnima destroy even the dreaded sins and give the best pace to the soul, so human beings aspire to heaven, to get freedom from all sins, and love Lord Vishnu. To achieve this, every person must do bath, charity, worship, chanting and tapasya on the holy day of "Magha Purnima".
Other festivals celebrated on the day of Magha Purnima:-
1. Sant Ravidas Jayanti is celebrated on the full moon day of Magh.
2. Shri Lalit and Shri Bhairav Jayanti are also celebrated on this day.
Virtuous deeds to be done on Magha Purnima
1. Leaving the bed in Brahma Muhurta, take a holy bath.
2. Surya Ardhya
3. Vishnu or Satyanarayan worship, fasting, chanting and havan
4. Charity
1. Relinquishing the bed in Brahma Muhurta and taking a holy bath:-
On the day of Magha Purnima, before sunrise, after taking a bath in a holy river, lake, reservoir, well or stepwell, one should wear clean or new clothes.
2. Surya Ardhya
After bathing, Arghya should be offered to the Sun God with Surya Mantra.
3. Vishnu or Satyanarayan worship, chanting and havan
A picture of Lord Vishnu should be established by laying a yellow cloth on a wooden post.
At the place of worship, mix Gangajal and water in a brass pot and place a coconut on it. After that light the flame of cow's ghee.
Thereafter chanting the mantra of Lord Vishnu:-
Om Madhusudanaya Namah
Chant the above mantra 108 times or more as per your capacity. After chanting, sprinkle water at home and in your kitchen and drink some water yourself.
In the end, desi camphor should be lit in an earthen lamp and circulated in the whole house.
After this, after making a lamp of flour, pouring cow's ghee in it, lighting it with a wick.
Make a swastika with turmeric in a pair and place this lamp on it and keeping it under a banana tree, keeping this lamp under a banana tree, worship with roli, molly, rice, incense-lamp, yellow fruits, yellow flowers, bananas, sweets etc. Do the desire of the mind and definitely pray in front of God to fulfill the wish.
Satyanarayan worship and fast on Magha Purnima:-
The story of this Lord Satyanarayan ji is done. Banana leaves and fruits, panchamrit, betel nut, betel, sesame, moli, roli, kumkum, durva are used in the worship of Lord Vishnu.

4. Donations of Magha Purnima:-
1. On Magha Purnima, whoever donates eighteen Puranas or one of them, especially "Brahvaivarta Purana", lives in Brahmaloka, freed from the mess of life and death.
2. On the occasion of Magha Purnima, the person who donates food and warm clothes or bedding to the poor, helpless and handicapped in the religious place, does not see the hell full of all the animals and lives in heaven.
3. In the mid-day period, poor people and brahmins should be given food and donated-dakshina.
4. On this day, donating gold, sesame seeds, blankets, books, almanac, woolen clothes and food items to the poor and Brahmins gives merit.
5. Flowing sesame seeds in water on Magh Purnima is also very fruitful.
6. According to the scriptures, on this day Lakshmi arrives in the Peepal tree. Therefore, after bathing in the morning and other auspicious works, offer water to the Peepal tree and sweets should be offered. By doing this one gets the grace of thirty three categories of deities.
Prohibition Karma on Magha Purnima:-
1. According to the scriptures, one should not sleep for long on the day of Magh Purnima, sleeping late on this day brings bad luck in life.
2. It is necessary to keep the house clean on the day of Magh Purnima, keeping the house dirty on this day, negative energy starts to reside in the house. Due to which the arrival of Lakshmi is blocked.
3. Wearing black clothes on Magh Purnima is considered a taboo.
4. On the day of Magha Purnima, there should not be any kind of discord in the house, because by doing this there is no peace and happiness in life. On this day, the elders of the house should not be insulted, because doing so causes Pitra Dosh, which leads to all kinds of problems in life.
5. On the day of Magh Purnima, Shroor karma i.e. hair, beard, nails etc. should not be cut, doing so causes a defect.
6. On the day of Magha Purnima, one should neither criticize nor utter abusive words even by mistake. It is believed that by doing this, happiness and prosperity go away from the house.
