(माघ शुक्ल पक्ष की पंचमी तिथि (पूर्वाह्न व्यापिनी) को वसन्त पंचमी का त्यौहार मनाया जाता है । वर्ष 2022 मे 5 फरवरी को सुबह 03 बजकर 48 मिनट पर पंचमी तिथि लगेगी, जो कि अगले दिन यानी 6 फरवरी को सुबह 3 बजकर 46 मिनट पर समाप्त होगी। ऐसे में पंचमी तिथि 5 फरवरी को पूरे दिन रहेगी। इस वर्ष बसंत पंचमी पर मां सरस्वती की पूजा का शुभ मुहूर्त करीब साढ़े पांच घंटे तक रहेगा। नई दिल्ली में पूजा मुहूर्त- 5 फरवरी की सुबह 07 बजकर 07 मिनट से दोपहर 12 बजकर 35 मिनट तक है।
बसन्त ऋतु को ऋतुओं का राजा, अर्थात सर्वश्रेष्ठ ऋतु माना गया है । ऋषियों ने भारतवर्ष के लिए,
सूर्य (पृथ्वी) के बारह राशियों मे घूमने से लगने वाले बारह महीनो के समय को, दो-दो मास के वर्गो मे बांट कर छः ऋतुओ की कल्पना बडी ही व्यवहारिकता के साथ की। इन ऋतुओं मे बसंत ऋतु को ऋतुओं का राजा अर्थात ऋतुराज कहा गया है ।
ज्योतिष शास्त्र मे सायन पद्धति के अनुसार कुंभ राशि मे सूर्यदेव के प्रवेश से बसन्त ऋतु का आगमन होता है। चान्द्र मास गणना के अनुसार बसंत पंचमी का दिन माघ मास मे गुप्त नवरात्रो का पांचवा दिवस होता है।
बसन्त ऋतु तथा बसन्त पंचमी का अर्थ है, माघ मास शुक्ल पक्ष का पांचवा दिन । बसन्त ऋतु का आगमन इसी बसन्त पंचमी से होता है । यही से ही शांत, ठंडी तथा मंद वायु, कठोर जाड़े के मौसम का स्थान ले लेती हैं, अर्थात कठोर जाड़े से मुक्ति प्राप्त होती है, नये पत्ते, फूल-पुष्प खिल उठते हैं।
पंचतत्व (जल, वायु, धरती, आकाश तथा अग्नि ) सभी अपना प्रकोप त्याग कर अपना मोहक रूप दिखाते हैं। आकाश साफ होता है, वायु सुहावनी, अग्नि ( सूरज) रूचिकर, जल सुखदाता होता है और धरती तो मानो सौन्दर्य का दर्शन करवाने वाली होती हैं।
बसन्त पंचमी को पर्व के रूप में मनाये जाने का कारण:-
1.वंसत पंचमी माता सरस्वती का प्रकाट्य (प्रकट), होने का दिवस है। अतः इस दिन मां सरस्वती की पूजा-अर्चना की जाती है।
2. इसी दिन कामदेव तथा देवी रति के भी प्रकट होने का दिन है।
3. रितुओ के राजा वसंत के आगमन पर नई फसलों के आने की खुशी के लिए भी यह त्योहार मनाया जाता है।
बसन्त पंचमी पर माता सरस्वती का प्रकाट्य तथा स्वरूप:-
वंसत पंचमी माता सरस्वती का प्रकाट्य ( प्रकट ), होने का दिवस है, ब्रह्मा जी को सृष्टि के सृजन के बाद चहुं ओर सन्नाटा, निशब्द तथा उदासी प्रतीत हुई तो उन्होने अपने कमंडल से जल छिडककर माता सरस्वती को जगत को विद्या, बुद्धि, कला, ज्ञान-विज्ञान तथा संगीत के द्वारा आलोकित करने के लिए प्रकट किया।
धर्म ग्रंथों के अनुसार वाग्देवी सरस्वती देवी, ब्रह्म स्वरूपा, कामधेनु तथा समस्त देवो की प्रतिनिधि है। ये ही विद्या, बुद्धि, ज्ञान, विज्ञान, कला और संगीत की देवी है, इन्ही अमित तेजस्वनी व अनंत गुणशालिनी देवी सरस्वती की पूजा-आराधना के लिए माघ मास की पंचमी तिथि निर्धारित की गई है। बसन्त पंचमी को इनका आविर्भाव दिवस माना जाता है। अतः वागेश्वरी जयंती व श्री पंचमी के नाम से भी यह तिथि जानी जाती है ।
माता सरस्वती का स्वरूप:-
वाग्देवी की चार-चार भुजाएं है, तथा मां आभूषणों से सुसज्जित, जटा-जुटयुक्त, मस्तक पर अर्धचंद्र धारण किए हुए कमलासन पर विराजित, नीलग्रीवा एवं तीन नेत्रों वाली कही गई हैं। मां शांत तथा सौम्य स्वभाव वाली तथा दूध के समान वर्ण वाली हैं ।
माता के एक हाथ में वीणा, दूसरा हाथ में वर मुद्रा और अन्य दोनों हाथों में पुस्तक और माला सुशोभित है, एवं मां का वाहन मयूर (मोर) भी संग में शोभायमान है ।
सभी प्रधान देवी-देवताओं द्वारा माता सरस्वती को विभिन्न आभूषणो तथा मणियो द्वारा अलंकृत किया गया। देवी भागवत के अनुसार भगवान श्री कृष्ण जी ने स्वयं माता सरस्वती की पूजा की, तथा श्रीकृष्ण जी ने वरदान देते हुए माता को कहा प्रत्येक युग तथा ब्रह्माण्ड मे माघ शुक्ल पंचमी के दिन बडे गौरव के साथ तुम्हारी विशाल पूजा की जायेंगी । प्रलयकाल तक प्रत्येक कल्प मे मनुष्य, देवता, योगी, सिद्ध, नाग, गन्धर्व और राक्षस सभी बडी भक्ति के साथ तुम्हारी पूजा-अर्चना करेंगे।
माता सरस्वती की वीणा को संगीत तथा पुस्तक को विचार का प्रतीक माना जाता है, जबकि मां के वाहन मयूर को कला का प्रतीक माना जाता है ।
माँ सरस्वती मानवजाति के लिए परम आवश्यक, ज्ञान प्राप्ति की प्रथम सीढ़ी, विज्ञान, कला, संगीत, बुद्धि तथा वाक शक्ति की अधिष्ठात्री देवी हैं । बिना वाणी के अच्छाई-बुराई , सच-झूठ ,प्रेम एवं निष्ठुरता किसी का भी ज्ञान ही नहीं हो पाता। प्राचीनकाल में वेद, पुराण आदि समस्त शास्त्र कंठस्थ किए जाते रहे हैं।
माना जाता है कि इसी दिन मनुष्य शब्दों की शक्ति से परिचित हुए थे अर्थात उसने बोलना सीखा था। इसलिए इस दिन सभी के साथ संयमपूर्वक शुभ और प्रेम वचन बोलने से ईश कृपा प्राप्त होती है।
माँ सरस्वती मनुष्य के शरीर में उसके कंठ और जिह्वा में निवास करती है जो वाणी और स्वाद का स्वरूप है। मान्यता है कि इस दिन बोले गए वाक्य शीघ्र सफल होते है। अतः इस दिन शुभ वचन ही बोलने चाहिए।
माता सरस्वती को विद्या की देवी कहा जाता है। विद्या, ज्ञान के बिना इस धरती में सब कुछ अधूरा है और इनकी कृपा से ही व्यक्ति को इस सृष्टि के परम आवश्यक विद्या एवं ज्ञान की प्राप्ति होती है। इसी ज्ञान के माध्यम से सृष्टि के लगभग समस्त कार्य सम्पादित होते है। वे उस शक्ति का प्रतीक हैं जो मानव को अज्ञान के अंधकार से ज्ञान के प्रकाश की ओर ले जाती है। सरस्वती माता की आराधना से ही जातक को विद्या एवं ज्ञान के साथ साथ तमाम ललित कलाओं जैसे संगीत, साहित्य, कविता, वाकपटुता आदि में भी निपुणता प्राप्त होती है।
मान्यता है कि इनकी अनुकम्पा से ही महर्षि वाल्मीकि ने संसार के सर्वप्रथम महाकाव्य रामायण की रचना की थी । महर्षि वेदव्यास ने पुराणों की रचना के लिए माता सरस्वती जी की आराधना की थी ।
वसंत पंचमी एक स्वयं सिद्ध मुहूर्त तथा इस दिन के शुभ कार्य
1. भारतीय ज्योतिषशास्त्र के अनुसार वसंत पंचमी को अति शुभ माना गया है, इस दिन को स्वयंसिद्ध मुहूर्त घोषित किया गया है। अर्थात इस दिन कोई भी काम बिना मुहूर्त देखे ही किया जा सकता है। सभी पवित्र कार्य जैसे मुंडन, यज्ञोपवीत, सगाई, विवाह, तिलक, गृहप्रवेश आदि सभी मांगलिक कार्य इस दिन अति शुभ फलदायी माने गए हैं।
2. बसंत पंचमी का दिन विवाह करने के लिए भी अत्यंत शुभ तथा अनपुच्छ मुहूर्त माना जाता है, यदि विवाह का कोई शुभ मुहूर्त न मिलता हो तो बिना मुहूर्त तथा शुभ समय देखे ही बसंत पचंमी के दिन विवाह कार्य शुभ रहता है। इस विषय मे शास्त्रों मे उल्लेख है कि बसंत पंचमी के दिन ही भगवान शिव और पार्वती का तिलकोत्सव हुआ था। इस दृष्टि से भी शादी के लिए बसंत पंचमी का दिन शुभ माना जाता है।
3. बसंत पंचमी के दिन गहने, कपड़े, वाहन आदि की खरीदारी आदि भी अति शुभ है । इस दिन यथा संभव ब्राह्मण को दान आदि भी अवश्य ही करना चाहिए ।
4. बसंत पँचमी के दिन सभी मनुष्यों को अपने से बड़े रिश्तेदारों, परिचितों, और गुरुओं के प्रति सम्मान अवश्य ही व्यक्त करें । उनके पास जाकर अभिवादन करें अगर हो सके तो उन्हें कोई उपहार या फूल ही दें, उनके प्रति अपनी कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करें । यह सच्चे मन से बताएँ की वह आपके लिए बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण है ।
5. बसंत पंचमी का दिन बच्चो की शिक्षा प्रारम्भ करने का सबसे उपर्युक्त दिन माना जाता है । मान्यता है कि सरस्वती देवी की महिमा से, इनकी कृपा से मंदबुद्धि भी महा विद्धान बन सकता है। इसीलिए इस दिन प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी के लिए सरस्वती पूजा अति शुभ मानी गयी है, और जिन्हे जीवन में अच्छी शिक्षा, उत्कृष्ट ज्ञान चाहिए उन्हें सच्चे मन, पूर्ण श्रद्धा से इस दिन माँ सरस्वती की आराधना अनिवार्य रूप से करनी चहिये।

(The festival of Vasant Panchami is celebrated on the Panchami Tithi of Magh Shukla Paksha (Aam Vyapini). In the year 2022, Panchami Tithi will be held at 03:48 am on 5th February, which is the next day i.e. 6th February at 3:46 am. In such a situation, Panchami Tithi will remain for the whole day on February 5. This year the auspicious time of worship of Goddess Saraswati on Basant Panchami will last for about five and a half hours. Puja Muhurta in New Delhi - February 5 at 07:07 in the morning to 12 noon. It's till 35 minutes.

With great practicality, by dividing the twelve months time taken by the Sun (Earth) to move in the twelve zodiac signs, it was divided into two-month sections and imagined the six seasons with great practicality. In these seasons, the spring season has been called the king of the seasons i.e. Rituraj.
According to the Sion method in astrology, the arrival of the Sun God in Aquarius signifies the arrival of spring. According to the lunar month calculation, the day of Basant Panchami is the fifth day of Gupt Navratri in the month of Magha.
Basant Ritu and Basant Panchami means the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Magha month. The arrival of spring season starts from this Basant Panchami. It is only from this that the cool, cold and slow wind replaces the harsh winter season, that is, one gets freedom from the harsh winter, new leaves, flowers and flowers bloom.
The five elements (water, air, earth, sky and fire) all give up their wrath and show their seductive form. The sky is clear, the air is pleasant, the fire (sun) is pleasant, the water is pleasant, and the earth is about to witness beauty.
Reasons for celebrating Basant Panchami as a festival:-

Appearance and form of Mother Saraswati on Basant Panchami:-

Form of Mother Saraswati :-
Vagdevi has four arms, and the mother is said to be adorned with ornaments, hair-strengthened, seated on Kamalasana with a crescent moon on her head, Nilgreva and three eyes. The mother is calm and gentle and has a milk-like complexion.
The veena in one hand of the mother, the boar mudra in the other hand and the book and garland in both the other hands, and the peacock (peacock), the vehicle of the mother, is also adorned in the company.
Mother Saraswati was decorated with various ornaments and gems by all the principal deities. According to Goddess Bhagwat, Lord Shri Krishna himself worshiped Mother Saraswati, and Shri Krishna ji, while giving a boon, said to the mother that you will be worshiped with great pride on Magh Shukla Panchami in every age and universe. Human beings, deities, yogis, siddhas, serpents, Gandharvas and demons will all worship you with great devotion in every kalpa till the doomsday.
The Veena of Mata Saraswati is considered a symbol of music and a book as a symbol of thought, while the peacock, the vehicle of the mother, is considered a symbol of art.
Maa Saraswati is the ultimate essential for mankind, the first step to the attainment of knowledge, the presiding deity of science, art, music, intelligence and speech power. No one can have knowledge of good and evil, truth and lies, love and cruelty without speech. In ancient times, all the scriptures like Vedas, Puranas etc. have been memorized.
It is believed that on this day humans became acquainted with the power of words, that is, they learned to speak. Therefore, on this day, one gets God's grace by speaking good and loving words with restraint.
Maa Saraswati resides in the human body in his throat and tongue, which is the form of speech and taste. It is believed that the sentences spoken on this day become successful soon. Therefore, only auspicious words should be spoken on this day.
Mother Saraswati is called the goddess of learning. Everything in this earth is incomplete without knowledge and knowledge and it is only by their grace that a person gets the most necessary knowledge and knowledge of this creation. Through this knowledge, almost all the works of creation are accomplished. She is the symbol of the power that leads man from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge. By worshiping Mother Saraswati, the person acquires knowledge and knowledge as well as proficiency in all fine arts like music, literature, poetry, eloquence etc.
It is believed that Maharishi Valmiki composed the world's first epic, the Ramayana, because of his compassion. Maharishi Ved Vyas worshiped Mata Saraswati ji for the creation of Puranas.
Vasant Panchami is a self proven Muhurta and auspicious work of this day.
1. According to Indian astrology, Vasant Panchami is considered very auspicious, this day has been declared as a self-fulfilling Muhurta. That is, on this day any work can be done without seeing the Muhurta. All holy works like mundan, yagyaopveet, engagement, marriage, tilak, house entry etc. All auspicious works are considered to be very auspicious and fruitful on this day.
2. The day of Basant Panchami is also considered to be very auspicious and auspicious time for getting married, if no auspicious time is found for marriage, then marriage work remains auspicious on Basant Panchami without seeing the auspicious time and Muhurta. In this subject it is mentioned in the scriptures that the Tilakotsav of Lord Shiva and Parvati took place on the day of Basant Panchami. From this point of view also, the day of Basant Panchami is considered auspicious for marriage.
3. Shopping of jewelry, clothes, vehicles etc. is also very auspicious on the day of Basant Panchami. On this day, donations etc. must be made to Brahmins as much as possible.
4. On the day of Basant Panchami, all human beings must express their respect towards their elder relatives, acquaintances, and gurus. Greet them by going to them, if possible, give them a gift or flowers, express your gratitude towards them. Tell with a sincere heart that she is very important to you.
5. The day of Basant Panchami is considered to be the most appropriate day to start the education of children. It is believed that by the glory of Goddess Saraswati, by her grace, even a retarded person can become a great scholar. That is why on this day Saraswati Puja is considered very auspicious for every student, and those who want good education, excellent knowledge in life, they should worship Maa Saraswati compulsorily on this day with true heart and full devotion.
